Why do the jews who run the world care so much about making me give a shit about F1 in 2025?
All the lego car sets are F1 this year, a run of F1 hotwheels, we got a movie, we got F1 in the USA (that they literally put up plywood to keep the locals from being able to see from their apartments for free), apple violating their own rules to push F1 movie on people as if it was a fucking amber alert

But I've been into cars my whole life and only watched F1 get faker and gayer and more fake and more gay. Too many rules like fucking Melee autists, no fun allowed, no innovation allowed, no more loud engines because it offends the vegans, $600 beers at the races. Fuck right off. I have more fun watching children drag race modified power wheels on facebook reels.

It used to be about coming up with exciting new car technology to build a better car than your opponents and win with technical merit, but now it's a fag sport where everyone's cars are regulated to be equal so it's a competition of drivers. Turns out that's boring garbage. Meanwhile we got a guy who build a car that generates twice as much downforce as it weighs with a jet turbine vacuum that can not just drive, but PARK upside down, and he isn't allowed to race it in any motorsport on earth because they all disallow new things now. We could be watching shit like F-Zero or that weird Speed Racer movie right now if F1 wasn't a gigantic corporate circlejerk about putting celebrity prettyboy drivers' faces on everything.

F1 has long been turned into a mass market reality show. Its not about racing, its about cheap drama and personality cults. That's why you see football fan type of people at F1 events, and that's why everyone is suddenly into F1 these days. They don't care about racing, they pretend to care about it because its trendy or something. If F1 vanished tomorrow other motorsports series wouldnโ€™t suddenly grab those fans and TV wouldnโ€™t take WEC or Rally as a replacement.
Weโ€™d get more football.

F123 is the best recent entry into the series. They will generally have a good game followed by 3-4 years of complete rubbish, so I expect the next good one to be F127.

If you want a good management experience, get Motorsport Manager (not the F1 licensed one) and research popular mods for the game because you need them to experience the game at it's best.

If you think you need money to enjoy cars, and default to screaming about how I'm from the third world because I don't like how over-regulated F1 is, you are undoubtedly projecting your own brownness. This is made evident by how you associate the very existence of a car with wealth. People in rural America race used shitbox cars that they bought for less than one paycheck, and upgraded with junkyard parts. People below the poverty line can have 2-3 vehicles here. Being "into cars" does not mean being a saudi prince buying the latest ferrari supershart every six months, or some influencer racing with daddy's money. Post hands.

To support this, there is a rally series in some nordic country where the is no limit on what sort of car you can enter. But as a stipulation of the contract you sign to do the race you have to accept an offer of 300 euros for your car if somebody offers. So people have to race absolute shitboxes.

I have watched videos of it and it's some of the most exciting racing you can watch.

20 years ago, how is that relevant today?

Every WEC race is kino and comfy at the same time. At least 3 manufacturers are competitive, even Alpine has shown to have teeth in Spa. Sure, Ferrari seems like the strongest machine, but why didn't they win last year then? Because it's endurance racing and a lot can happen in a 6-24 hour race.

I'm not sure. In my area most F1 fans are women, but most fans of other racing like NASCAR or IndyCar are men, at least where I live.
NASCAR has really been trying to gain a new audience though. They've increasingly alienated the old fans by making it a "daddy's money" sport making it hard for rising stars to join, and banning the confederate flag at all events, though there are some improvements to the sport such as adding many more non-oval tracks to spice things up and challenge drivers.

I really doubt early stock-car racers were making that much money, anon.
As for the OP, F1 is just plain boring and basically has no real action taking place. You're better off watching a 3 minute highlight youtube video than the actual race. If you want to simrace F1, Automobilista 2 is probably the best for single-player AI races while iRacing is still king for online play. Anyways, watch WRC or NASCAR like a man instead of sissy racing. Nascar has been infiltrated by rich people, too, but they at least still race one another and allow contact to take place. You have to tardsmash someone to get penalized and NASCAR welcomes the drama of drivers self-policing most incidents.

It is a based retard take in a way though. WEC's Hypercars are so much cooler-looking than F1.

the Petty family made enough money by the end of the 1950s they could field multiple cars a race. Petty Enterprises was one of the first real big major professional teams in NASCAR. Ralph Earnhardt was one of the most successful short track drivers in all of North Carolina, made enough money to not have to work a real job.

regardless, the joke I was making is they got into NASCAR because their fathers more or less funded their early careers.

I just assumed the OP has no prior experience with racing games and just wants chaos, with close competition and lots of dogfighting. Nascar or stock car games come pretty close to that

I'm Bri'ish and we have banger racing, or at least we did when I was a kid.
A decade ago when I was obsessed with pic related I thought about entering a shitbox competition but for motorcycles and bought one of the old german bikes (MZ250) they were using that some guy nearby was selling. It looked kino but also fucking dangerous so it's probably for the best that I was too lazy to get a racing loicence.

P.S. Tourist Trophy 2 when? The RIDE games never did it for me.

I can only offer anecdotal evidence but I'm 36 and know plenty of people around my age that watch it, or at least keep up with the results and news.
My younger brother is 32 and watches every race though he doesn't have any friends so dunno about others his age. My youngest brother is 27 (or 28, can't remember these days lol) and he and his friends all watch it.
I live in a major city and see plenty of guys walking around with F1 team merch like t-shirts/caps/those polo shirts that the engineers wear etc. I've even seen a few couples (male (male) + female (female)) wearing matching t-shirts.
I agree that there's much more women into it these days than ever before but find it difficult to believe you've never met a guy (male) into racing in your entire life unless you're a shut in or something.

MotoGP is a different story, thoughever. It's way better than F1 but the only people I know who watch it regularly are me and my youngest brother. The races regularly get over 200k live attendances but I just don't think it's that big at all in this country.

It's not really about cars and racing anymore
The entire season is predictable within a few races because you can't make any changes
So they came up with dramatizing F1 around drivers personalities, as it is at an all time low in accidents and risky exciting driving, and women loved that

>So they came up with dramatizing F1 around drivers personalities
Which is strange, because there's never been less personality in the F1 paddock than there is now. They're all overtrained media babbies who have been in the racing bubble since they were 5 years old and come from absurdly wealthy families.
I really don't understand what all these women see in them, but then they do tend to like the blandest people imaginable (e.g. K-pop idols etc.)

GRID Legends' entire premise is trying to emulate the TV drama aspect, complete with FMVs, this is the only (modern) game I know of that is taking this direction

I looked it up and it does have a F1 type car (with cockpit view)

MotoGP will always inherently be a fringe sport because most people (aka boring normoids) drive cars and see motorcyclists as crazy at best and a menace to society at worst.
The owners have tried hard to market it to normies and it's definitely more popular than it's ever been, but it will never be on F1 levels.
In my years of watching I've seen two deaths on live TV (Simoncelli and someone else I've forgotten who was in Moto2 or 3 I think) and most people don't want to risk seeing that.
The women who are into motorcycle racing are genuinely more insane than the riders so make of that what you will.

I think it's 2026, so next season.
It's not necessarily the engines that are the problem. More reliance on downforce has made it difficult to overtake as riding close to the guy in front of you makes your bike too unstable, for instance.
The trouble with prototype racing is that the newest and most advanced shit isn't always conducive to good racing.
