Slow ass clunky CFW shit that isn't compatible with many games. Using more than one cheat at a time causes red RAM errors.
Playing romhacks or translated roms gives you the same red RAM errors.
A cheap R4 card will do the job with Wood R4 FW.

the lower res screen can display the original resolution graphics without upscaling larger than a 3DS can.
on a 3DS XL the unscaled original res option isn't too bad but on a small 3DS it's ant sized. DSi XL is the best if you want a big screen with sharp pixels.
