Slow ass clunky CFW shit that isn't compatible with many games. Using more than one cheat at a time causes red RAM errors.
Playing romhacks or translated roms gives you the same red RAM errors.
A cheap R4 card will do the job with Wood R4 FW.
If you really want to splash on a DS flashcart get a DSTWO.

the lower res screen can display the original resolution graphics without upscaling larger than a 3DS can.
on a 3DS XL the unscaled original res option isn't too bad but on a small 3DS it's ant sized. DSi XL is the best if you want a big screen with sharp pixels.

if you mean for pirating 3DS games, don't use a flashcart for them, just use 3DS CFW to install games to the console's SD card.

p4g and sm3hd are worse. p3r is worse. the EO remasters with the fucked font and rendering are worse (the untold versions are alright though). catherine and radiant historia are still better. strange journey redux is almost another game, it's still a very good one though. biggest disappointment with it is that it doesn't use stereoscopic 3d when soul hackers looked so fucking good in 3D
