The HD era killed gaming.
>games ran off disc
>games didn't take 8 years to make and a massive budget
>games were about fun instead of copying current thing
>no politics in games
>games relied on a good single player
>no paid online
>no subscription
>consoles were reasonably priced
>couch coop
>no more fun art styles just ugly gritty high polygon count
>games had to be properly optimized
>games weren't all slopified
>controllers didn't die or get drift after 3 months
