Because Nintendo has the most consistent release schedule of games on earth. Even if there isn't a game you want now, new games are coming out once a month like clockwork and Nintendo has a history of releasing at least 1 entry per console for every franchise they have (outside of a few dead ones).
Unlike Sony who destroyed their output trying to pivot to live service games, or Microsoft who barely make any games at all, or PC which releases virtually no exclusives or so infrequently that decades can pass without a new entry (looking at you Valve) Nintendo can be trusted with a game release schedule.
