This game is in a league of its own in quality. Nothing else comes close, and nothing will come close for years to come. Nothing else is even on the horizon.

You're right. It's absolutely hilarious seeing journalists and bandwagoning sheep praise games like Tears of the Kingdom when this game mogs every game ever made. In fact it should be industry standard to add a caveat to every game review how the game being reviewed is obviously inferior to Cyberpunk 2077, but the reader should try to ignore that for now.

The open world isn't interesting. It feels more like a big hub area than a place you actually want to mess around with.
Missions are pretty samey, but it's nice that buildings often have 2+ entrances.
Combat is pretty basic. If you focus on one thing you'll end up having no problems at all.
It's a decent game but nothing more.

I'm enjoying it on my switch 2.
It's solid fun, just a good 'long game' like playing an elder scrolls or something. At like level 30 now, doing a ton of side shit. I don't see myself replaying it necessarily, but that's not so much a bad thing. I'm liking it as it is for what it is now.
It's the current version, so I can't imagine the shit show it musta been at launch.

I'd often be disappointed trying to break a window to double jump into an upper floor on a building, only for all the windows to be indestructable in some run down warehouse.
It's also completely arbitrary whether skillcheck doors require strength, tech, or engineering.

gamers want detail, not just superficial muh pretty rtx world design.
People loved rdr2 because of things like the npcs actually eating food or doing their job. The ai reacts smartly to your actions. In cyberpunk nothing happens except npcs running away and cops trying to kill you (which means they literally just spawn and start shooting without any thought) you need to enter a mission for anything dynamic to happen, that's the great flaw.

I know it's a tiny thing but I absolutely hate how the last shots of the game switch to third person. The game has shown it can be beautifully cinematic working the confines of a first person POV, you have been seeing the world through V's eyes for the past 40 hours and suddenly it's not good enough? What the fuck was that about?

I'm nearing 160 hours in it and I think I only have the "Meet Hanako" left of the main game, and I'm about to hijack the French twins in the DLC.

It's a good, pretty immersive with lots of backstory, but some of the side missions, gigs and police scanner things have left me feeling unresolved. It would've been better if you could scan to see the names of all the dead bodies for example to get a better view of what happened. I've felt a bit confused by just reading shit I've taken off somebody I've just killed.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You even played the game? In CP you start killing cops and it will escalate to the point city defense systems and vtols will chase you all around. In Starshit you kill a security officer and another will spawn. That's the height of reactivity because there is a hard cap on how much NPCs you can have in a cell. Not to mention it's all copy paste shit planets with nothing on them.

Maybe if youโ€™ve never played classics before. Itโ€™s well written, but even then there are a lot of issues. The romance characters are paper thin when it comes to their involvement in the story. Panam feels like she got half as much thought put into her than Judy did. A lot of the factions kinda fall flat, but itโ€™s good enough. Iโ€™d say itโ€™s like. 7or 8/10 with the dlc because of the writing specially, the gameplay itself is still pretty average even after the changes.

I know it's not that deep, but that's an issue in a game that's obviously had a lot of thought put into its details. They do have a way to show your character, there are mirrors everywhere. Seeing your reflection and all your cybernetics, contrasting with the first time you looked at yourself in the prologue, that would have been thoughtful and smart. I know I'm being autistic but it felt out of place from the very first playthtrough.

Yes, depending on where you are different law enforcement agencies will come after you. They will search for you and will recognize you based on your face meaning you can avoid them temporarily by changing clothes and putting a mask on. CP cops just spawn more and more shooting at you ramming into your car, it's not smart. Even GTA 5 has better police chases.
Anyways tie a noose and jump you pathetic roach
