Just emulate it, the pc version is fucked beyond belief and you'll have to install a demaster anyway to fix it and it'll still crash.
You'll appreciate the speed up function anyway due to card farming and drawing.

Steam FFIX with the Moguri Mod. Aside from the obvious background upscale (which was trained on the original CG artwork and later refined by hand), the mod also has some nice quality of life changes here and there.

I dont bother trying to convince /v/ to buy 5th and 6th gen consoles. If they were going to they wouldve done it. Theyre all like 50 ish bucks. And most ps1 and ps2 games are between 10 and 30 dollars but for some reason they just dont care. They could literally have the set up ready to go with a crt and theyll still dump the money on steam or emulate it.

For instance, FFVII's pc port is anything either, but the steam release is still probably the best way to play it cause of the extensive mod support that the game has. Do FFVIII and FFIX have anything similar to 7th Heaven?

FF7 is best emulated too but you can alternatively mod it since it does have some neat mods

Of course. I've emulated even when I've had the consoles. Why go through the trouble of setting something else up if it works through emulating? I'm 32 and I only have so much space.
