the next mass effect should let you play as the reapers when they wipe out the batarians

Batarians did nothing wrong. They just want to be left alone in their system.
The Volus are the real problem.

Having played through it at launch it just left such a bitter aftertaste. Even with the update I'm still reminded of how absolutely soulless the original endings were and how they were ok with shipping the game in that state.

For me personally that was where Bioware truly died.
