I wouldn't mind another OnS game, but the chance of that happening is essentially 0 unless the community does it. Funnily enough, there was some discussion about the potential for a third season since Wit (the studio behind the first two seasons) was having a panel at aniexpo, but it ended up just being untrue and bait lol. Not that I particularly want a third season, since I kinda would prefer OnS just die quietly since its gone so far downhill.

Her story has already been told, tied with a ribbon to show that there's nothing more to add. Though it wouldn't surprise me if she shows up in the sequel Nitroplus is working on, but given that Natahara and Namaniku are gone, I'm not super excited for it.

BDO released a new class the other day, so I decided to roll one and level it up. Probably won't play it much beyond that honestly lol, since the actual core of the gameplay is very repetitive, and power growth is completely tied to low % RNG, classic KMMO shenanigans. In some ways, I could see her performing in front of a crowd. She is a queen, so she is used to addressing her subjects. A hoe just crashed my game!
I'm playing Oblivion and going through the bigass Mehrunes Razor dungeon. One of the dungeon gimmicks is that there are unique farmer enemies you don't see anywhere else in the game. I killed one and went to loot their weapon, but the moment I picked up their farming hoe the game crashed.
I know it's Bethesda and all, but crashing is officially where I draw the line where bugs go from "endearing and soulful" to "playtest your fucking game, devs!".
At least I only lost like two minutes of progress, thank the Nine for the very thorough save systems of their games.

I have a chunk of lapis lazuli that is an remarkably close match for the regal hue of her cape so it does make me think of her, and it's a rather soft stone too which is fitting.
But I do sometimes think about something with a more vitreous lustre would fit her well because of the themes of her game and story, and maybe because of her dragonstone too. Some sort of quartz could fit the bill but I'm not knowledgeable enough to be specific.

I haven’t heard any good news about GFL1, I think all I’ve heard is they’re releasing some sort of Steam client that for some reason is only available in china. But I’d have to check my facts.
Honestly, TMP appearing in an event pretty much confirms that she’ll come eventually. There’s no reason for Mica to feature characters like that if they don’t plan on adding them as actual units. I think they added Soujourn or whatever Ulrid’s event is called. I don’t think they’ve added anything else yet. And honestly, the story’s a bit of a mess right now chronologically speaking. And these supposed rewrites I keep hearing about probably aren’t helping. But whatever, I prefer the “moment-by-moment” storytelling. When you put all the different chapters together, the story can seem a bit convoluted, but when you zoom in and experience each story as its own separate thing it can actually be an interesting read. I recall Honkai Impact being pretty similar, overall convoluted story, but interesting moment-to-moment storytelling

And yeah, I mean, every gacha game always has a rough start somehow. I personally found the Raymond thing funny if anything. There’s just something about the beloved chinese standard issue rifle being the designated “ntr queen” that I just found kind of funny. Especially considering that this Raymond guy is blonde and blue eyed.
But yeah, the writing has been decent so far. People shit on the story of GFL2 but I actually find it pretty charming. GFL(1) was just a little too intense and thrilling for me. GFL2 plays more like Cowboy Bebop or Outlaw Star, you know, a comfy story about a bunch of suicidal guys and girls (or a guy and his robot escorts anyway) traveling the post apocalypse and getting into all kinds of shenanigans with the occasional dramatic and emotional moment here and there. They even have a ship of their own - the Elmo.

In this game's case, it wasn't so much that the characters themselves were appealing. I actually skipped all dialogue, story events and concerts! Didn't really think much about character choice either beyond stats and skills. The safisfying part was the gameplay grind; Building a good support deck and training properly can make some pretty cool builds! Watching a race come down to the wire and seeing your horse skank pop like 6 skills to blow past the competition IS pretty hype! But yeah, after binging it enough it gets annoying that the races are pretty much un-interactable RNG cutscenes. Plus the skills you gain are entirely dependent on your support cards, so if you don't pull any good ones enjoi ur shit build.

First arc Trails in the Sky has English voices for battle but otherwise text. First Sky game is getting a remake (out in a few months) that has English VA for the story.
Second arc Trails from Zero/Ao has Japanese voices for everything.
Third and fourth arcs Trails of Cold Steel and Trails through Daybreak have many, many English voiced scenes. Amusingly, the English dub for Cold Steel 1&2 actually voices a bunch of scenes that were text-only in JP.

In terms of voice acting quality, I think it's usually really good. It doesn't feel phoned in like some JRPG dubs are.

How are you finding it? Daybreak 2 was definitely a controversial entry. I enjoyed the first half or so, then THAT chapter happens, but the game picks itself up by the end and has a good finale.
