Full power Ishizu Tear is probably worse. Maliss would probably be a lot more manageable without White Binder, that card is what really puts it in the discussion. I would say Ishizu Tear is more consistently fearful whereas right now, Maliss is just unreasonably unchecked. It has Link Decoder, Splash Mage, Apollousa, Allure of Darkness, and Gold Sarcophagus almost entirely unchecked which is fucking retarded AND fixable. But insofar as the archetype itself, it's White Binder that makes it so insane.

Link climbing cyberse-slop that draws a shitload of cards, has tons of 1-card combos, great extender access, and puts up some genuinely really layered interaction. Almost no singular board-breaker can out their setups and in many cases, even two can't get it done in a lot of cases. Lancea, Droll, Chaos Hunter, Maxx C or bust. Full power Snake-Eyes puts up more raw link material but Malice cards have some of the most busted Link monsters in the game right now. Hearts Crypter is a Mirrorjade that can't be negated if it points to a monster, and the main deck monsters give the links bonus effects if they're linked. And since most cards require a banished Malice, and a banish causes a summon, you're activating Malice on-summon effects constantly.

It's difficult to explain unless you play against it.
The deck is basically impervious to interaction if the malice player isn't braindead because every card floats to the banish pile and comes back for just a few LP. They can, basically at any time, banish their cards for effect costs using their engine to blink your interaction, that means that your veilers and imperms do nothing. And the deck chainblocks like crazy so your ghost ogres are worth shit too. Did I mention that the deck also plays around nibiru and can droll itself so it doesn't care about maxx c?

Would be a shame if it also drew a million cards with allure of drakness and for some reason its in engine cards also draws organically so they'll get into a million handtraps, dominus impulses, called by the grave, crossout designator and ash and whatever the fuck to mess with your turn. All from one card combos obviously.
The "good" part is that it takes only two or three minutes to set up instead jerking off poplar for eight million years like snake eyes. But while the endboard seems comparatively "small" since it's just an apollo, a firewall dragon and some backrow, if you don't kill them they WILL end you on the crackback with an OTK that hits for like 12k. And you won't kill them because they have more layered interaction than it seems.
There is a card (artifact lancea) that basically locks the deck since it prevents banishment. If you resolve it against malice and manage to win on the crackback you win. If you don't, you're fucked.
The deck is ass going second and gets absolutely destroyed by two or three well timed omnis.
Are things worse than tearlaments or snake eyes full power? No. But it's the best deck and it's not even close. They released it without ryzeal for some reason and now it's uncontested at being the best so it's going to top every single tournament and everyone is maindecking lancea for the forseeable future.
