I never trusted the Gringe. Mach Rider was the main giveaway

I still think Shadow would be a dumb character to add.

It's hilarious so many people on /v/ acted like they knew it was bullshit after the fact when the vast majority of people believed

Mach Rider is the reason I believed the leak at all. Smash consistently had retro, toy-related picks since Melee. Mr Game & Watch in Melee for the G&W line, ROB in Brawl, and then Duck Hunt in 4 started as a gun toy. Mach Rider fit into this, it started as a car toy before becoming a videogame. Now I'm left with a Smash without a proper retro Nintendo pick, and it's fucking gay, frankly.
