If you're going to look at Gunvolt at all 3's the closest since it introduces melee characters, but even for them the actual game flow is pretty different.

I kinda liked ZX/ZXA's world. The concept of robots and humans both becoming more like cyborgs to achieve peace through equality and end the eternal reploid wars. A shame it wasn't expanded upon and was only really explained in the cliffhanger.

I really liked it up to that point, and I did everything solo. Some of the highest level missions felt impossible because of that. I stopped playing when they I realized the maps, while fun for a while, are too big and too empty. Really loved Empress' thin sword move where you could cancel her dragon slam into that diagonal fire shot and chain that till you ran out of dp.

The collections work perfectly on the Switch2, as long as you're playing with a Switch2 controller, somehow you'll still get inputlag if you play with things like the SNES Switch1 controller.
