i play this game as a comfy space trucking simulator and honestly star citizen its been a better experience than elite dangerous, and no mans sky combined.

you can actually walk around your ship. the space ports actually feel like giant intergalatic space stations with the shuttles taking you to different sections, and the flying model is the most realistic out of all the space games.

Just quit fucking buying $200 ships and bitching on reddit about it. you're a fucking retard if you actually paid more than $40 to play this early access game.

I would say that the biggest problem is startling dev incompetence and a lack of clear management direction/concept of deadlines.
But at the end of the day I don't regret spending money on it, especially given how long ago I spent it.

elite dangerous has recently had a shift to developer focus on it, so its in contention to running ahead right now

X4 exists and if that's your type of game, is better than both elite and star citizen

Ostranauts may actually be my favorite space sim game period, but its top down.

Qanga is a representation of why Star Citizen is a fucking bloated mess from a small indie developer

then there's upcoming games like jumpship which looks like what star citizen wanted for its multi crew capabilities, but fun and not horribly janky, and starship simulator
