$3 on Steam. Worth buying and still active online?

There are only 6 active fighting games: Strive, Project M, SF6, Brawhalla, For Honor and MK (on consoles). All the rest will be begging on Discord. There's also Fightcade, which is always active

Not many, but Accent Coreโ€™s addition of rollback kind of made it an eternal game online. Not a day has passed where I havenโ€™t been able to find a game, but everyone online is a killer though.

yeah its easy to find games, the netcode is great and the way they set up the match finding system is simple and very solid so while the playerbase is fairly small its faster to get a match in it than Strive
if you're new to the genre or haven't played older games like it before its going to seem extremely difficult though, +r is a great but hard game, no ways around it

Absolutely
>still active online?
As active as any other old fighting game. So, not very, but you can still find matches at any time of day with slight patience.

3s is active pretty much 24/7, but outside of KOF98 and 2002 (which are only populated by Latinos who can't afford ethernet cables) and sometimes Garou and Jojo's, it's pretty dead.

KOF 97-02' are the most active retro fighting games today. After that comes Third Strike and surprisingly TTG2

Yes, ignore people that tell you otherwise OP, it's one of the best FGs ever made and pretty much active all the time, you won't need to beg for matches on Discord (play on quickmatch though, ranked will probably take you longer to find)

Based fellow Johnnychad.
Enkasus are a bitch to learn but I feel so good when I pull one off.

The thing that stuck out to me, that I really liked about Accent Core +R, was that the command history was at the bottom of the screen when you're labbing. It'd be nice if other fighting games did that.

Dragon Ball FighterZ had it on the side.
Tekken 7 and 8 have it on the side.

And I'm pretty sure the later Street Fighter games on PC also have it on the side.

yes
>still active
there's always around 30-40 people in the quick match lobby. you're going to get your ass kicked for a while though because most people still actively playing this game have been playing for years. when in doubt just challenge whoever in the lobby has the lowest win rate
