Aim for gifts, high-grade materials and furniture.
Don't go beyond 1st, 2nd crafting tier at worst. Higher tiers offer better items, like elephs, but the cost is too high. 3rd tier is aimed at whales, and uses exclusive whale currency.
For the specific crafting recipes - you will most likely be using it for book/disc/artifact selectors. To convert those you have surplus of into what you're short on. So don't forget to stock up on the crafting crystals in the JFD shop. For which you obviously need to be doing JFD for. So don't neglect it.

You should re-run the previous missions, getting 3* on them so that you can sweep-farm them and get equipment. If you have Tsubaki or another bag-wearing tank then your absolute first priority is to upgrade the bag, t4 gives 1 fucking thousand def. If the roadblock in the missions you're facing is simply that the enmies have blue armor then you probably don't have Chise. Either way, the problem will be alleviated starting tomorrow when you'll be rolling every day and getting new students that are better fit for the task. Fes rolls a week from now will give you so many students that you'll be having the exact opposite problem still, do NOT try to level everyone equally and concentrate on the best ones.

One thing BA does better than any other gacha that I know of is how it handles fomo. The legacy event missions being permanent is really good for making sure senseis get the full story experience, since events are canon to the timeline and are occasionally referenced in story, the only true fomo I can think of is the collab students who aren't very good units at the end of the day and are really only a fomo for collection fags. Missing Miku might genuinely hurt for the vocaloidnigs tho.

Uma's PC release is a global release. People are doing the bulk of the one-time content on it, and it's a game that I've heard has very time consuming dailies.
Blue Archive's PC release is not a new server, it's just a PC client for existing servers. It doesn't draw in nearly as many new people. We were sabotaged by Steam withholding the release, too. The average BA player is only about 5~7 minute every day.
