>>714739613 (OP)what is this weird practice these companies are doing now, where they go on a MASS hiring spree, getting as many people as they can in a few months.
They then throw them onto major projects and leave them there for literally YEARS, im talking 3-5+ years of working.
Then suddenly, "oh wait no we need to budget cut" and so they fire everyone they hired.
Then the project they had a trailer announcement for is in endless limbo or just vaporware cancelled at this point.
All of this, yet they have record profits and growth to investors.
So my question is this /v/.
My entire post loops itself.
These companies will then shortly after laying off EVERYONE, they will go on a MASS rehiring spree again and repeat the process ive outlined.
WHAT is really going on? Do the workers even work on anything? Is it all a front to gain shareholder wealth and dividends?
Xbox hasn't released ANY games other than Halo Infinite in 2021, FOR 5-6+ YEARS.
Every game they announced, such as Fable, Perfect Dark, and others, were all announced as far back as 2020.
And they all still have nothing to show for it.
Its like how Microsoft hired that japanese guy for Scarebound, he spent 2-3 years developing it, then right when it was literally finished, they pulld the rug from under him and said "it didnt meet their standards".
The entire company of Microsoft (and other companies) just seem like massive front companies to make endless wealth but producing nothing of value. Its literally smoke and mirrors.
