How can people possibly be confused about what Stop Killing Games is about? It's plainly stated that the movement is about allowing people to keep playing games they paid for after the main server shuts down through private servers. It's not that deep.

The problem with that is that the initiative ignores the financial resources it would take for game developers, indies especially will be left in the dark.
The gaming industry just laid off tens of thousands of jobs this year alone, it's not in a good state at the moment. This movement is just another kick in the teeth while they're already down.
These demands are absolutely unrealistic and are impossible especially for indies to implement.
