It also directly affects Sony's intermediate term strategy, see Concord, where they advised Sony to invest almost a half billion in buying the company, and which live service games they shuttered.

Finally, a number of public Bungie figures have called for the shutdown of 4chan, and have actively pushed for it's removal from the internet.
