Even the rest of the stuff from SoundTEMP sounded noticeably "different". Not worse, but almost like a different group wrote it.

I played the game when I was a brat and didnt know english.
back then I would change the language till I got one that sounded cool. most often french and german dubs had cool voices.
not understanding the actual story and using my imagination resulted in many mediocre games with great facial animations becoming memorable to me.

It's what Ares barks into your ear every time you go on a killing spree. I couldn't tell you the exact number that causes him to say it but if you stay in a level long enough he'll go through the list. Depending on the language that you played it in the dub should account for that since hes a major plotpoint for the whole narrative.

Just some batshit insane gore hound washing himself in the blood of the Romans that you're sending him bukkake style. Like he just crawled out of the opening scene in Blade at the slaughter house rave.

the only word I managed to understand back then was ATTACK being yelled during that early level with the medusa morter artillery. and I thought it meant march or something.
funny story with this game. my memory card had filled up and I didnt know you could delete stuff in it, so I had to repeat beating the early levels while constantly getting better at the game to progress faster.
by the end I could reach the final boss 3 times in a day. never managed to beat him though.
thank God I got a memory stick so I didnt grow up to be a speed runner.
best mechanic in the game was that you could roll a circle around enemies to appear behind them if they are blocking your attacks with a tower shield. was so much fun.
shoutout to the sewer level. those flame thrower fucks were hard to kill.
