the only word I managed to understand back then was ATTACK being yelled during that early level with the medusa morter artillery. and I thought it meant march or something.
funny story with this game. my memory card had filled up and I didnt know you could delete stuff in it, so I had to repeat beating the early levels while constantly getting better at the game to progress faster.
by the end I could reach the final boss 3 times in a day. never managed to beat him though.
thank God I got a memory stick so I didnt grow up to be a speed runner.
best mechanic in the game was that you could roll a circle around enemies to appear behind them if they are blocking your attacks with a tower shield. was so much fun.
shoutout to the sewer level. those flame thrower fucks were hard to kill.
