Didn't play it but from my understanding it has level mechanics like in Valhalla and also rock paper scissors ammo types. So in my book, it's shit

Wouldn't know I refuse to give money to ubislop. Lord knows from what I've seen the story is as the gameplay is the same as every other far cry so why play this one?

No, it's more like: AP ammo Ironman level tech backpacks. When people said that the first gun you get is all you need they weren't lying

I played through it over the last couple of weeks and uninstalled the game as soon as I finished the main story.

It just goes off the rails. If you remember Hurk from FC3 pretty much every character in FC6 is like him.

If they deleted one of the islands and replaced it with more unique out outposts it'd be serviceable. But as is it's just the first 3 hours of the game repeated 20 times.

The ammo types are stupid, the backpacks are cool at first but unnecessary in the long run. It doesn't improve anything over FC5.
Would have loved a the ability to side with the main villain though.

-story is gigapozzed garbage
-ammo system is dumb (you just headshot with armor piercing)
-perks tied to clothes is dumb
-checkpoints usually have 2 people in them. 1 is a woman

Yes. The shocking part is the actual tranny in the game is the sensible one and their partner chimps out and botches a (in setting) MAJOR operation to overthrow the bad guy because their feelings get hurt. Oddly this colossal fuckup is never brought up again. All the interesting good characters are killed off leaving a bunch of retards to row row fight da powa.

Gameplay is fucked because their concept of rock-paper-scissors for ammo doesn't work so AP and popping heads kills anything made of flesh and the firework backpack is the final solution to all vehicles. This means any unique weapons not using AP ammo are pointless outside of their skin.

Once again ubisoft's art teams outdo themselves by making a great looking game that is let down by awful writing and gameplay.
