I blame my loss of hope in gaming on the GTA V debacle back in 2013. The game was so underwhelming I never bought another ever since... fast foward to the 2020 pandemic, I started playing a ton of gacha and I dont think im ever going back to regular gaming again.

Even lewdposting here is more fun than most games relased in the last 5 years or so.

Can anyone relate?

Every single time I try a gacha I'm put off by the completely meaningless grinding walls. Even the games I like are ruined by the grinding

Video games are like movies these days
We have enough great titles to last us a lifetime, but we still get new releases frequently
The good ones mostly go under the radar while the average to bad ones rake in the cash
Going retro while enjoying a quality gacha to have something to lewdpost about is pretty comfy

2010-2012 Blizzard has shown me that major gayming companies are in a death dive. But there are always some fun indies lying around. Don't think I'll ever have to worry about running out of games to play.
And instead of wasting your time on gachashit you should start reading books instead. Good stories you can enjoy at your own pace and at no expense (unless you want to buy them for some reason), who could ask for more?

The batman (2020) and Dr Strange were so painfully bad, I stepped out of the cinema in both occassions. They were so terrible I almost skipped watching the gems that are Top Gun Maverick and Oppenheimer (last movie I ever watch at the cinema). Never lose hope!

I actually have the opposite opinion on love-fueled sex. If you need to "grind" to get it, the attraction probably isn't as sincere as the other person says it is. On the other hand, if it happens quickly, after a very small period of time after the very first interaction, then the attraction is not only sincere but also quite strong.

Likewise, spending money on either gacha or relationships is a terrible idea.

If you went towards gacha, you're better off dead
