One thing that's important to note is that this stuff lasts a long time, at least a year. Which means that it can be stocked for a while whereas milk and eggs goes bad withing a week of not touching. The Huel I have is part of a stockpile I made while I was making good money, and now that I'm not, it's still there to use.
Beans, rice, can foods are also good long lasting foods to stock up on when times are good.

Peas aren't very good to begin with, but making them mushy is not a step in the right direction. Beans on toast sounds fine but your beans are always so runny.
