Best Chinese emulation handhelds to pick up before new tariffs go into effect?
Anonymous No.714812963 [Report] >>714813956 >>714814759 >>714814950
They're still not in effect? You faggots have been spamming about those for like decade. Wtf.
Anonymous No.714813670 [Report]
I wonder if any of them are good up to and including the ps2/gamecube gen, and with nice feeling controls for it.

Is there a cheap one that can emulate ps1 and n64?

Ally is chinese and an UMPC, Deck is an UMPC, Chromatic is FPGA. The chinamerican option would be this pile of crap and the MyArcade thing with the knob that will never come out.

>>714814514
Yes, no. Vita can't run N64 either.

We have until August. I have been stocking up on cheap chinesium 1.5" LCDs, ESP32s, and Arduino Pro Mini knockoffs while I can. By the time the next shipment arrives I should have enough bench stock to keep shit running until the new meta for cheap components is found.

I don't know what I am going to do about PCBs. I really relied on JLCPCB to print my Gerbers cheap as fuck. I might have to teach myself another skillset and build a station in my workshop.

Does the vita actually emulates the ps1 or is just compatibility mode? I have a psp and that shit can't even do save states.

i don't really think "contains parts manufactured in china" is the same as "chinese emulation handheld"

By technicality and demanding gymnastics to boot from recovery by holding buttons rather than automatically, RP5 and RPF2 (the Snapdragon one).

Prolly not, Snapdragons with Linux support are scarce. RPC's brand new chip, for example, is unsupported and might not ever get it.

But again, pain in the ass experience, not what you're imagining. Look up Rocknix.

>My Anbernic Slide got stuck in customs for a week
>Now it is being delivered by a company called "UniUni" which is apparently just a bunch of randos with no training and a notoriously shit reputation, apparently mostly delivering packages for Aliexpress
>Marked as "Out for Delivery" on Sunday night
>Could arrive a week from now, no way to know
At least my SD card is all ready to go...

I'm personally happy with my anbernic rg 406h. It runs a healthy amount of gamecube and ps2 games and even some Switch. Was able to get FF7 New Threat Switch mod working recently.
