>>714814436 (OP)They took a game whose main focus was a challenge to continue to fight objectively better (IE: to learn from past mistakes and make new/better ones), to EARN ones' rewards for completing a hunt, and to continue to be a challenge regardless of how skilled the hunter got. They then made the difficulty ridiculously easy, made the rewards completely irrelevant because the rewards are basically thrown at the hunter, and the repeatability of the hunts so unfun that it isn't worth doing a hunt more than 2-3 times.
Then you have shitty and forcefully injected story that no one wanted, with railroaded mandatory unskippable sections that add fuck all to the game, made multiplayer a horrendously convoluted and idiotic mess that disconnects insanely easily even when a hunter and their friend are both on incredibly reliable and stable connections, and the shit-covered corn-kernel cherry on top of the pile of digital feces cake is the abysmal lack of optimization that makes playing the game feel like a slideshow on top of horrible textures, terrible aesthetic choices, and shit modeling.
They took the core out of a very beloved game, and replaced it with lowest-common-denominator replacements, gutting the game of everything that made a MH game just that.
