Correct, you aren't. It's a video game. The appeal is nonexistent unless you actually do it. I would love to take my son fishing or hunting or telling him about the true nature of women. None of that has any appeal if I do it to a set of lines of code.

The inverse is the case for a daughter. Raising a daughter in an imaginary setting is based, but raising one irl is laughably cucked unless you plan on grooming her to be your wife.

They call it "daughter raising sim" yet so many are just autistic stat calculator games. Nearly all of them miss the point of you're supposed to be the father raising the child; she's meant to feel like her own person that, yes, you're guiding, but also she's free to make her own decisions, including being a brat, ignoring your orders, choosing her own career path, her own partner.
Princess Maker is the only one that comes close to this fantasy properly but even that has too many sections where you just directly control the daughter.
