Like >>714824623 said, get a job with a schedule that works for you. I work four days a week with each shift being ten hours without taking lunch or breaks so I break even at 40 hours. Three days off with vidya to decompress and lift. It's ideal and I have no idea how people deal with working five days a week

Probably by going home after you clock out and playing before you go to sleep. If you're too tired just go to sleep and wait until the next day. I worked 1-9:30 at Sam's Club for 5 years. I lived through preloading RDR2, Far Cry 5 and Spiderman. You'll live.

Manual labor either at warehouses, entry level construction, or at hardware stores like Home Depot or Lowes will literally take any available body that can at least lift 40lbs. They don't care if they can have a better discussion with a gold fish, if you can at least do your job then you're in. There's a serious lack of workers right now and that gives you leverage negotiate hours. Start off part time, prove your worth by being dependable, and further down the line adjust to full time with 40 hours accordingly on a schedule that suits you like four days a week at more hours per day. If you can't communicate well, then do so through your work and you'll be accommodated accordingly when you do make awkward requests. It worked for me and after the district manager visited and saw the work I was putting in, approved my request to the store owner I put in that week once he left

i work night shift at nursing home and the shifts are mostly chill. i work 4 days on, 7 days off. it leaves you extremely tired at the end, but you quickly recover and have several days off to do whatever the fuck you want. im assuming its different and more stressful in the US though, if thats where you're from.

Play shorter games. Start picking up games that are designed to be beaten in a single sitting. Even if you invest 15~30 minutes and don't beat the game you'll still feel fulfilled in getting your fill of the game. Not only that you'll slowly learn the game and get further over time. Video games don't have to be 4 hour investments that always prod you along to keep playing every day. They can be short bursts of action that have a defined ending with a game over from loss of lives or getting to the credits.

Based. I've been remote for 2 years now and it's a complete cheat code. Wake up 10 mins before clock-in, play vidya during lunch, alt-tab during meetings, and slam work out in focused bursts. If you're disciplined it's the ultimate gig for gaming time.
