Why haven't Valve learned anything from Artifact's failure?
>Incomprehensible, convoluted game mechanics
>Even if one side is losing badly games can still last up to an hour
>Boring, uninspired visuals

I got into the beta of this like a year ago and don't remember anything about it except one of the characters being a total Hellboy ripoff

I think you'll find that's precisely why Deadlock is in trouble.

Still waiting for full release. I heard they went from 4 lanes to 3 lanes which seems like a shitty concession.
In all honesty, the game will probably be niche since the "MOBA" genre has been solved and the only winners are League of Legends & Valve's DOTA 2. It's not the early 2010s anymore. Someone who wants to play a multiplayer PvP game has way more options to chose from than a MOBA.

>Play first game every recently with seasoned friend
>Both teams are constantly shit talking, we're losing like 90% of the game
>Ready to give up, but sticking it out
>Friend tells me to just suicide ult 2+ people as Dynamo
>Do so
>Win off the back of it
>give Game 1* and uninstall
I can waste whole hours in infinitely more interesting ways.
