It took me 6 months, but I finally beat Final Fantasy 2 (pixel remake). Now, on to 3. I'm going all the way to 8.

What took you so long. I only played 7 and the remake and wanted to play through them all sequentially starting from 1

I want to play this 3 (the correct "3") in particular, because--like many in the U.S.--I was 'introduced' to Final Fantasy way out of order; 6 was presented as "3" for the SNES.

Yeah? I beat the original 4 games on original hardware recently (yes including the ones not released in NA) and I’m working on the 5th. The pixel remasters don’t sit right with me, why did they make Final Fantasy into unityslop?
