This guy was pretty spot on besides the overpriced issue.
300 was a pretty attractive price for a console.
The reason that it succeeded despite those issues, none of them compounded in any significant way. Tendies were perfectly fine with playing BingBing in 720p for 2 hours at a time.

Normal people might wait to buy a game or console if it's pricy on release, Nintendies are so completely beholden to their nostalgia that they have to consume as soon as they can. I had a coworker that complained about the trump tariffs just because he thought they would make the switch 2 more expensive, even though he would have bought it at any cost. They don't have any critical thinking skills, they don't play or care about other games, they only worship Nintendo. They're walking homunculi, and as bad as all the pricing was, Nintendo easily could have squeezed them even harder

Genuinely, honestly, sincerely, wtf is wrong with console fags, why don't they just enjoy video games like everyone else, why is their well being defined by product from a company that doesn't give a fuck about either of you. Being a gamer means appreciating all games as an artform. A game isn't better if its on a nintendo, a hex box or a nintendo playstation, or a phone, or a personal computer.
