Worse is the fact that everyone not only forgives her, they join her. Even Levi and Ange who have the most reason to kill her on the spot treat her as a some goofy goober and turn into shit tier characters. It either should have ended on that beach or Erwin should have gotten the vaccine.

That's where I stopped with the manga too, I got fucking sick of the politics arc when I just wanted a manga about humans trying to survive against a powerful enemy.
Good thing I found a better manga that fullfils that criteria and is much better than AoT.
