It stays the same throughout. So if you don't like it in the first hour, well it's only got two-four hours more tops anyway so might as well finish it or dump it. It's not gonna change.

About the time you get the shotgun, and the pistol becomes useless. What the hell do you need infinite ammo for anyway? I usually end RE1 only firing about 45 pistol shots and never picking up any clips, and about 40 spare shotgun shells because those are the only ammo worth going out of the way for. Are you firing at empty rooms or something?

op you are unironically playing one of the better versions of the game just send it, don't be autistic (you leave the mansion with unexplored rooms then come back to finish up) so just focus on getting 4 crests put into the slots asap and you will see true power when you get the jillzooka
