There's always going to be a market for fulfilling single player experiences. I play both gacha games on the side because they emphasize pretty short daily chores behind maybe 10 hours of content every couple of months. You can easily juggle a couple of gacha games that aren't grindy to feed the thrill of gamba rolling for cute girls while playing normal games otherwise.

It's the same shit but for women, but women care way less about this kind of market. L&D is basically at the top of a lonely mountain with not a single competitor anywhere else in the market because the market just isn't big enough for female players to where they can sustain a bunch of gacha games specifically for them.
Besides, they tend to want to latch onto games with larger communities which means they often just end up playing the same gooner gacha games that men are playing despite there being much fewer male characters since the community aspect is way more important to them.
