I'll never understand this sentiment. Movies are about 2 hours long, while videogames that try to be movies have dozens of hours of cutscenes. They are not just videogames, they are bad at being movies too. If you can't cram the narrative of your game to 2-3 hours of cutscenes then your narrative sucks.
