Nta but there is a lack of funding when it comes to public healthcare and mental health. I'm personally from Sweden and here you can get help for most issues relatively cheap through the public healthcare system, except for mental issues. The waitlist to see a sepcialist is roughly 5 years long, and that is if you even are able to get a referal from a doctor (I've tried to seek help for autism for around 3 years but have so far been denied).

If you want to see a specialist you practically have to go through private clinics, and that will cost you 30 000 sek (around 3000 USD) minimun just to get a diagnosis, and then you have to pay for any future sessions out of pocket because the public healthcare can just flat out dismiss the diagnosis.

I recognize young people as a victim of the largest entertainment industrial complex ever created and empathize with the dehumanization they receive done with the end goal at making them into a product, as well.

As an enby I sincerely get the hate for this game in general, especially the pixar-ified graphics and the toned down grit compared to the original. But one thing the game did particularly well is depict the necessary awkwardness of coming out to your parents as non-binary. You don't see that subject matter in a lot of media in general, let alone video games, and it was absolutely spot on.

This character is actually the worst written in the entire game but not for the non-binary stuff.
