>>714894298 (OP)Mobile games and flavor of the month sloppa.
>>714894731I used to enjoy watching both believe it or not, got annoyed by their modern day antics, came back to watch a full-on Youtube drama civil war waged over these two and got very amused by watching it unfold.
>>714897840I say that's giving him too much credit, you're right about some aspects about this, but he definitely DIDN'T mature or grow actual empathy. If he did, he would've rightfully recognized that his Content Cop stuff was arguably his most benevolent content. His Bad Unboxing was pretty much him being as offensive and shitty as possible, but ironically he never speaks about that content and even still does it to a degree. His Kickstarter Crap also had him target some really low-hanging mentally ill retards on Kickstarter. Neither of these got taken down, but his Content Cop stuff all got nuked.
If he had denounced those videos instead of content cop, I'd probably agree with you. But that's not the case. I am more inclined to believe he's both deeply insecure and frankly has a lot worse skeletons in his closets.
>>714897980Because Joji was true to himself. His rebrand was based on his actual personality and on something he had planned for years. It was already something he hinted with his irl vlogs (the hate of which I felt was undeserved even back then). He was getting bogged down by medical issues too, so his reasons for abandoning FilthyFrank and Pink Guy were not only justifiable, but 100% necessary.
Ian on the other hand admits in his video that he's deeply insecure and doesn't know how to make compelling content, a bulk of his mistakes now are based on that insecurity and his inability to make genuine shit. I don't think anyone would've complained if he made more videos akin to him fucking around with friends or his mockumentary style videos. Instead he chose to double down on slop content with zero charisma, zero soul and zero passion.
