truly a misunderstood classic, Revenant Wings for the DS is comfy pixel kino too. I love Ivalice.

Platform? I've been thinking of picking it up on switch but I fear it has the same input lag as the PS4 version as they are both 60 fps

Should I try revenant wings on my 3ds? My favorite FF games are 9 and 12 but I never played revenant wings, didn't look that good desu

I'm playing on PC so I can't speak for the console versions but it's been playing fine for me so far.

It's technically the sequel to FF12 and I remember it being surprisingly fleshed out with content for a DS game, so I'd say go for it if you want more of the cast. No voiced dialogue at all obviously but there are FMV's which are pretty nice. It plays like an RTS and you can call in Espers to help you fight battles - the gambit system is carried over and each character can still have unique abilities, weapons, armor etc...
I thought it was neat, but it's a DS game so go in expecting that.
