Because when a man sucks at vidya you attribute it to that particular person but when a woman sucks at vidya you attribute it to all of women. Women on average are worse than men at vidya but this gets massively exaggerated by the aforementioned confirmation bias.
For regular games the difference on average is small and vastly overshadowed by other factors like experience and the gap only becomes wider at competitive level.
Also they're gay and convinced it's nerd shit so most of them only like vidya on a very surface level.

The only girls I’ve met that are autistically good at the games they play are ones who play wow and league. Real answer: women don't have to try at anutjing, because men are biologically wired to compete (to impress women and therefore procreate). Women have no such incentive. There are outliers of women who try just because they want to, but that's not normal behavior, for women nor for men. In general, animals will only put forth effort into something if there's a tangible reward.

The real, actual answer is that vast majority of women just don't grow up playing them, and even when they did have a console or PC with games in the house as a child, it was most likely intended for their brothers, so they understandably pocketed that stuff away as male hobbies. Vast majority of the gaming stuff my family had was 100% for me and marketed to guys, and while my sister would occasionally get and play a game like Petz or whatever, as we got older we became increasingly socialized to enjoy more stuff marketed specifically by gender, meaning she'd ultimately never get better than the lowest barrier-to-entry games that girls love like Stardew Valley. I remember older generation dudes also struggling the same amount playing as the girls I've seen play, simply due to the fact that they simply never grew up around that stuff.

no that was like 2 years ago i haven't really gotten anything since then im in the same boat except kind of the opposite. and you're probably the same but you're just beating yourself up. it's not that people find you boring it's that you find them boring right now. it's ok to focus on yourself for now. get your head on straight and feel better. once you feel better you'll bring better things around. being in your 30s is hard but it's just the first step in becoming old. you're going to be old for the rest of your life but that doesn't mean you won't ever feel like you did before. you just have to figure out how you can get to a place that's similar to where you were then but now. you can't go back but you'll see things you know again.
