>>714916805 (OP) You've outgrown video games. Get a new hobby loser.

>>714916805 (OP) You should be playing the ps1 version, but the issue is that you've unfortunately lost the ability to feel joy and have become fundamentally jaded

>>714916805 (OP) Just emulate them bro. Way more soulful and the emulators don't need any setting up.

If those little musicians you collect don't make you feel something then you're dead inside Klonoa 2 sucks though
>>714916805 (OP) If you can't handle the first couple levels in 1, skip to 2. Emulate instead of playing the remaster. >>714920163 GBA games are stripped down, gameplay focused entries in a franchise carried by its audiovisuals. Best avoided unless you're in love with the core mechanics.
>>714920470 ??? the GBA games are solid puzzle platformers and the increased puzzle elements compared to the mainline games make them feel very distinct and perhaps even superior from a purely gameplay perspective.
>>714920887 I'll play Ristar, or other cute games. I don't care. It's just not as engaging as other games unless your skill level at video games is generally low, or if you are just seeking a very low stress game.
>>714921323 I 1CC'ed Joe and Mac arcade yesterday without any save state help in practicing hard parts or save state abuse to just have a general 1CC run.
>>714924480 No clue if you're the same guy, but if you conjure up a false situation like the poster is a save state abuser and are proven wrong, don't get offended.
>>714924705 Yeah, so? The way you're acting is like some fag coming to a Zelda thread and complaining that it's a babby game because you're so good that you can play Elden Ring with one hand.
It's a cute and colorful game about 2 friends learning the secrets of the dream world while saving its inhabitants. It's a pretty easy game with some cool designs, good music, and decent controls with a cute story that makes you FEEL. It's fine to not like it, and I can admit I have nostalgia for it. The ending song, rebirth, still makes me tear up a bit to this day. I think it really influenced my love of bittersweet endings and an almost obsession with that melancholic feeling.
>>714916805 (OP) Its the same with almost every snoytendie game. Its the most uninspired derivative crap, like a C minus game, like a 6/10 game, and they act like its the best 10/10 game ever. See every killzone game (except 2), every unsharted game, god of war, wipeout, crash bandicoot (the kart game is amazing though), spyro, and so on and so forth
why do you start the thread this way every time OP? I know you have no standing point to be made about these games or the remake. this time you left shantae out of the question
>>714916805 (OP) Should I start Klonoa 1 or 2? Debating whether or not I should play through Klonoa 1 first on my actual ps1 or emulate Klonoa 2 on my pc.
>>714937392 no shame in emulating 1 on pc, but I recommend 1 anyway 1 is a self contained story but there is something you learn about klonoa that is important and the reveal wont hit as hard if you know

What's the best way to play 2? I don't mind shelling out for the steam version but only if it's actually going to be a better experience than just emulating
>>714937608 Was studying qabalah and egyptian heiroglyphs at the same time, used some names as writing practice on scratch paper. Heiroglyphs say "Kabayah'n Iamed Ben Kefered" or "The Kabalah of Lamed Ben Klifford"
>>714938049 Neat. Let us know if you spot any qabalistic or egyptian symbolism while you play. We desperately need more deep lore MEANINGposting in klonoa threads.
I've never played Moonlight Museum before so I'm gonna marathon it all night and bump the thread. If the thread dies, it's because I've died. Love you guys.
