You really need to get into the deep lore, it's important. No point in getting into it if you have a tiny brain.

It's a cute and colorful game about 2 friends learning the secrets of the dream world while saving its inhabitants. It's a pretty easy game with some cool designs, good music, and decent controls with a cute story that makes you FEEL. It's fine to not like it, and I can admit I have nostalgia for it.
The ending song, rebirth, still makes me tear up a bit to this day. I think it really influenced my love of bittersweet endings and an almost obsession with that melancholic feeling.

Its the same with almost every snoytendie game. Its the most uninspired derivative crap, like a C minus game, like a 6/10 game, and they act like its the best 10/10 game ever. 1 is a self contained story but there is something you learn about klonoa that is important and the reveal wont hit as hard if you know

What's the best way to play 2? I don't mind shelling out for the steam version but only if it's actually going to be a better experience than just emulating
