Considering it's the only way to get a full lobby, yes the discords saved the online. Nintendo seemed to have broke lobby matchmaking as well when they did their little update so you rarely get full lobbies in worldwide as well. Dunno why they took such a step back when it comes to online in MKW anyway. Tournaments in mk8 had the perfect amount of customization and that's nowhere to be found in mkw
