Why has it never been dethroned as the best looter-shooter/fpsrpg? It's been so long.

Ignoring the story even, I've yet to find anything with better pacing, build variety, and longevity.

The Division games are better, but since Jewbi soft is dumb it's been faded to almost obscurity.

Warframe made Borderlands completely pointless.
Warframe has 50+ characters, Borderlands has 4.

Pure brown aesthetic + even worse bullet sponges + less interesting uniques. Nowhere close to as good as BL2, even when the pvpve zones were populated.

No that's the presequel which was god awful, despite being largely the same game. The map design was pure cancer.

2 had the right amount of content with just enough crunch and grind. Compare 3 which has way better gameplay and usable weapons at every tier of rarity not stuck to Blue+. But there's no difficulty, the end game is a switch not an earned mode, the top gear is universal outside of class mods (no rubi, lovethumper, ogre, fibber, etc). Warframe is kneecapped by its mtx, destiny and division are fucked by incompetent devs/publishers, everything else I've played in the looter shooter genre has been a roguelike first and a shlooter second.

Warframe has no goal to work towards, once you have a build that can do steel path you pretty much solved the game, there's nothing more to do, no reason to get anything else other than for mastery rank

Division endgame is more bulletspoungy than BL2 if you don't use slag. Combined with a more realistic setting and overall mood it feels like shit to play.
