Not everyone on /v/ is like that. I've found some cool people where we just end up talking about games or music or whatever and it goes well. I'm not saying there aren't some massive spergs online, but not everyone goes into the deep end within a few minutes. What threads do you generally add them from? What games do you play together? Maybe changing up some of that sort of stuff before you get on a voice chat with them might make it more likely you find some (slightly) more normal but definitely more reasonable anons.

This was peak irony poisoning years. I don't even know when exactly it happened but sometime around 2011 and 2012, everyone went from actually finding trollface and cat memes funny, to screaming shit like ''le epic maymay for teh win!'' thinking they were any less obnoxious than the redditors who drove that shit into the ground.
