Preferably you want to wait as long as possible until you get as many discounts from events and inspirations (the red checkmarks you see in training)
You get a fuckload of skill points from doing races so consider doing them when training looks like shit.

It's somewhat rare (I added a basic R Tamamo Cross just because it has it) and when it activates my uma always jumps forward, maybe because while the other Umas lose acceleration on ramps, my Uma actually GAINS so it's sorta like a double effect.
If you have this + Late Surger Savvy + some navigation skill + Rudolf's unique skill passed through breeding... You get yourself a pretty good late surger, more consistent than usual for sure.

Jukebox is just a new ingame music player that let you play the winning live songs while in career mode, acting like a separate jukebox from the bakushin player in the home screen.
You also use it to request shoes while in club menu. The right menu also stores your backlog while doing career.
Other than those, the extended menus are kinda useless.
