An autist can play a single-player game by himself, not stream it, and 100% it because they enjoy the game. If they talk about it with other people, it's because they want to expand their thoughts on the game instead of building connections. It would be like going to see a film and genuinely gushing with passion over the cinematography and pacing instead of seeing a summer blockbuster with friends.

Looking at this thread I can see anons associate the word "build" with two very different concepts. One is heavily tied to RPGs and character progression, building characters through stats, point buys, and abilities, while the other side associates the word "build" with actual building and construction games, often with management involved.

anything with building beyond a surface level. minecraft, space engineers, satisfactory, factorio, aloft, etc are all examples. as a sperg myself, minecraft is the only game i have in excess of 1k hours in (untracked), and space engineers is about second at 232.5 hours.
