This is also my thoughts on the game. DS1 was better overall, but DS2 has the better gameplay. Also since completing it last week and connecting everywhere, also building pretty much most of everything I need there's barely any reason to keep playing.

Kojima Productions already got most of the production of the game paid by Sony. I believe that both KojiPro and Sony will make more than they invested obviously, but what Sony wanted more than anything was an exclusive game.
