>acknowledge the massive improvements in gameplay, storytelling, UI/UX, and overall game experienceI will never acknowledge ANY of that shit you just posted, because that would make me a gaslighted moron, spreading a lie.
The DEmake 2024 represents everything I and millions of other survival horror fans HATED already 15+ years ago. It is a pile of all the worst modern AAA tropes thrown into a single game, with the modern UE5 jank AND Americunt woke-shit as the cream on the top.
The gameplay is inferior: too much combat, way too linear and cramped map designs that diminish the exploration and problem solving aspects into the nowadays typical "the solution / key is in the very same room!" meme, AND the braindead over-shoulder view killing the cinematography and guidance, replacing the subtle and artistic highlighting of crucial things (and hiding some on purpose) with button prompts + yellow paint meme.
Pacing fell into the river with the constant padding. Most of it boiling down to Doom 2016-tier "combat room" wank festing, where you run around kiting enemies and then pummel them to death. What used to be a 6-8 hour compact experience is now a 16-20 hour slogfest, that nobody wants to replay.
UIX is literally the same "white plain text on black background" we've had to suffer the past decade already. The forced HUD elements and nearly completely killed inventory again demonstrate that Blooper has no idea what they're doing, and are just parroting post-RE7 style crap.
Storytelling and acting are mayhaps two of THE worst raped aspects of the de-make. All the characters look and act way off, completely nuking the impact and emotion of majority of the important scenes.
The Mary / Maria thing at the cell, the Angela's fire staircase, hell even James watching his VHS tape... prime example of soulless, flat delivery, with all forms of interactivity and symbolism removed and ruined.
