Lann is like two bad days away from suicide for like 70% of the game and he takes some pretty hot takes on a lot of characters. He straight up tells one cultist that he doesn't want to hear his "woe is me" sob story but he'll gladly put him out of his misery if he doesn't want to do it himself. I have played Pathfinder Tabletop plenty though I am not a powergamer and I don't really care about hyper-optimizing as long as I can complete the challenges the DM throws at me. I generally prefer to play as an interesting character and have a gimmick that informs their decisions.

With that in mind, how viable is playing as a Werewolf Shifter? I am aware Werecat is better in that regard, but I don't really know much about Shifter on the whole and mostly want to take the werewolf route because there's practically zero decent werewolf games out there and I think it would be an affliction that would be fun to roleplay even with the limited options available in WotR as I don't have tabletop friends anymore. Can you complete the game as this kind of character or is it just unfathomably bad?
