What the Tony Hawk games did for skateboarding was incredible at the time and Skate 1-3 are in my opinion the last truly next-gen games. They did something radically different to what came before, genuinely new and innovative. The physics, controls, customization and community, everything. That was 18 years ago. Tony Hawk was 25 years ago. But their success has trapped you all in this corporate hellscape, for some it's probably all you know.
Safeguard your communities man, I really mean that, go and find something for yourselves that you truly love or dig through history and rediscover something, but don't grow it, don't try and bring it to the world, don't monetize it, youtube it, enjoy it with those around you and then let it die a natural death less the parasites find it.
There are truly rotten people out there that aren't human at all.
