Just don't use wangblows.
>>714968038Which Windows 98-era OS that can run on 98-era hardware, can run steam today?
>>714968175Why do you want me to do deep research into an obviously niche topic that probably involves a whole suite of different software suitable for a toaster that still pops out bread?
>thank you Epic
lol the mask slipped at the end
>>714968351What exactly was the point of your comment then, nigger? To advertise that you're trans?
>>714968414You're the tranny using le olde retro hardware, not me. Just buy some cheap computer parts from the last decade for 200$ or less and make a real PC.
>>714968175Why are you using Windows 98?
I only buy games with 75% discounts + regional prices compatible with cholera-ridden shitholes. I don't give a fuck, my games literally cost less than a bottle of beer.
On Saturday, I bought two pizzas and spent the equivalent of 24 x Ikarugas on Steam's summer sale.
He's convinced me, I'm switching to GamePass now. XBox has built up enough goodwill over the past two generations and I think it's time that they deserve some respect for it.
How the hell are anti-Steam fags even more autistic than pcbros?
So is he implying you can run the EGS and Xbox Store on Windows 98?
>>714967983 (OP)Nobody cares about this troon's opinion.
>>714968821Most of them are literally console faggots.
>>714967983 (OP)>Kaldaienoh I remember that schizo
this is the fag whose mod doesn't work on pirated non-steam copies right? kek
>>714967983 (OP)I switched to GOG 11 years ago.
>>714967983 (OP)Lmao fucking retard, hope he acks himself already
>>714967983 (OP)Is this guy fucking retarded
try running the Microsoft store or fucking EGS on Windows 98
hell Tim wont even optimise his store for fucking Linux, a OS that is still used
I'll enjoy the convenience
being an anti DRM, game preservation fag must be miserable
also, all the games worth playing have been preserved already
>>714969027Some retard that place killswitch within his modding tools to break PCs of people that don't agree with him on Steam have another meltdown, delete his Steam account and prise MS Store and Ebin out of all things.
tldr of tldr - achizo meltdownz move along.
>>714969285>all the games worth playing have been preserved alreadyand there are enough decent games (+mods) for a lifetime
>>714969068And this faggot cries about steam DRM lol
>Epic Games Launcher Ending Windows 7, 8, and 10 (32-bit) Support on 3.14.2024
>By Epic Games
>Epic Games players,
>Today we’re giving a heads-up that the Epic Games Launcher will no longer support Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 (32-bit) starting June 2024.
>After this date, existing installations on these operating systems will no longer receive updates of any kind.
>The Epic Games Launcher will continue supporting Windows 10 (64-bit), Windows 11, and macOS 10.13 or higher.

lol lmao
>>714967983 (OP)Most steam games literally don't need steam dmr
>Muh onlineNot Gaben's fault if Steam offers p2p features and publisher accepts them
>>714968821>pcbrosV a lve drones, I totally forgot that shit existed.
No, I don't think I will.
>>714967983 (OP)thanks tim very cool ill now delete my steam account and make an epic account
>>714969498But you do need Steam to access your library and download the games.
>>714967983 (OP)he sounds like a schizo ngl
>>714968709>prevents running Windows 98-era games on original hardwareThe image directly addresses why.
I'm not commenting on the actual argument or bothering to convince you of why you might do that, I'm just saying your question was answered from the jump.
I do wish Valve would release a legacy Steam client that simply unpacks their games and maybe downloads them without any other support for OSes they've moved on from. Anyone choosing to use it is operating at their own risk and as-is. If it breaks then Valve can't be called upon to fix it but at least it's out there for people who have an older PC for an express reason.
Heck, they could even open source it so the community could maintain its compatibility and fix issues with it.
>>714967983 (OP)Nothing to see here, guys. He clearly appears to be a paragon of mental stability.
isnt this the guy who puts malware in his shit cause hes a schizo
>>714967983 (OP)I must be behind on the news
what happened to Epic that's causing all the Steam deflection?
>>714967983 (OP)I used it during the transitional period when they came with Big Picture. Nowadays BP is much better, largely because of the success deck. But back then it was creeping with crap features and less customization. But that was because of CS. I started using it again because of a friend of mine, but I understand the feeling. I gave my old account to a friend after I lost access because of the idiotic mobile identifier
>>714969430You can download and run Ebin games with a 3rd party launcher so this doesn't matter
>>714970241i see why hes praising Epic and Microsoft then
>>714970346you can download games via steamcmd, no?
>>714967983 (OP)>thank you epicEh? Doesn't Steam have way more compatibility features than Epic?
>>714967983 (OP)None of the post even matters. Ignoring the retarded shilling of subscriptions, contradicting himself by claiming games can be played and enjoyed in a month despite opening up crying about an OS 20 years old not being supported, claiming a month is long enough to play games so you shouldn't buy games in case they're removed 50 years from now.
Steam is objectively better because it's cheaper. I've spent measurably far far less because of steam sales.
>>714970397Steam is 10x more consumer friendly than Epic, to claim otherwise outs you as a shill, which he blatantly did with the le thank you based epic
>>714970390you cant run them without a emu
>>714970241Yeah, he's been know as a glowie since SpecialK.
>thank you epiclol
