Speaking of crates, I'm on the first game and there are some levels where I'm missing a crazy amount of crates despite destroying all the visible ones.

Are you noticing these firefly looking sparkly things in the level? Those are actually tiny gems that become big gems when you collect that colored gem. You then use those big gems as platforms to reach other parts of the level that contain the missing crates. So you cant get all the crates in some levels on your first pass through, you have to revisit them once you've found the colored gem for that level.

I do like that N. Sane made her goofy too. She has her own dance variant and rolls her eyes when you miss too many boxes. They really should've went with that more in the earlier games, but they didn't know what direction to take her. Then they morphed her into Jimmy Neutron with the Titans games.
