1.5 concurrent players is very good. Especially considering people don't play a game for 24 hours, which means it has tens of millions of monthly players.

Special events are not representative. The peak was only 7 months go on a 8 year old game, with increasing averages for seven years.
That being said it has dropped noticeably from its monthly average peak end of last year. Fortnite is finally on the decline, but it will probably still take a few years to become an has been dead game.

It relies 100% on the social factor to its playerbase, I don't think it will remain long term like counter strike was able to.

>Middle of a month long content drought because the devs are on vacation
>Dev resources going into metaverse meme modes most of the player base doesnt care about like shitty Lego modes, a CS clone and OG
>Only popular recent permanent additions has been Reload
>Most modes are full of bots which are extremely unfun to fight despite having thousands of players
Timmy needs to stop wasting his money trying to turn this into Roblox 2.0 and on various lawsuits and put those resources back into the core modes

For me it's how the rocket racing skins have perma fucked the vehicle pool to only ever have the same two kinds of car in any match.
The closest we got to new shit was the Star Wars slop that had a total of 2 flying vehicles on the whole map.

I don't think Fortnite is going anywhere. They all grow up with PC or Nintendo and then that game is on all platforms so they always got something free to play. Even if they grow tired of it they'll have kids and Fortnite will still be around, nothing can truly replace it unless they mess up the gameplay completely

Could it be any more obvious a mathematical botnet is the only userbase for that game? Look at how even those spikes are. Uncanny. Fake.

Player peaks during live events don't compare. Even the shitty Star Wars live event last month had 6 million online.

CS2 numbers are as real as TF2 numbers. Valve is just retarded and put a financial incentive into idling and botting their games.
