can’t say much or I’ll get f***ed, but here’s what I saw

think The Last of Us 2 meets Dark Souls
NOT open world in the Ubisoft sense, it's like a nested sandbox, big areas with layers of traversal
planetside traversal = mix of glider, parkour, and these "faith anchors" you can link to unlock fast travel checkpoint

combat is very good, satisfying feedback, several combos by stringing jumps and dashes into attacks.
you can break limbs to handicap enemies and use special tools to inflict unique status. It's very similar to God of War 2018 but with less focus on combos juggling enemies. you can use weapons, including the pistol seen in the trailer, to target weakpoints, some of which can be seen while the enemy attacks.
the effects of metal destruction, explosions and particles is really well made

the “bounty hunter” protagonist talks with a dialogue wheel is back but very sparse, player is still mostly alone
several encounters are optional, you can stealth, avoid, even negotiate (sometimes), or hack enemies

The planet is a tomb of failed civilizations, think Elden Ring lore but in space
something cut the planet off from the rest of the galaxy 600 years ago shortly after a technocult implemented a planet-wide lockdown
Druckmann’s script is HEAVY. Like religious apocalypse fanfic meets hard sci-fi
there's cutscenes and several characters you interact but you can still piece together a lot of info by finding items, journal entries and exploring.

tested on PS5 Pro devkits
lighting engine is insane whole levels shift color based on “planetary phase” throughout the game so you can

music goes from ambient drone to "metal" religious choir and then to rock

there are “Relics” that work like builds, but you can hold 2 and swap them and those can be upgraded

Final thing: Launch window internally said late 2026, full cinematic trailer at Game Awards 2025 if things stay on.

-Player has the option to give all side characters a sex change operation, however you must first use the wrong pronouns when meeting them to give them gender dysphoria
-4 sex scenes with player controls, 1 from a chair across the room where you are forced to watch, but have the ability to masturbate
-If the player gives themselves a sex change operation, but fails to remove their foreskin, a flag is triggered where all sex scenes (bar the cuck scene) is removed from the game. Choosing a smaller penis makes the sex minigame last less long

was in QA for a while, did several contract work before. don't want to say much of course. the work is mostly logging bugs like “AI just walks into crater and dies endlessly” or “glyph doesn’t trigger in phase 2 dusk lighting.”

honestly? it might not sell like TLOU2 but ppl will like it
biggest “unique” thing: the world gives a lot of freedom reacts subtly to which path you take, like events you will only see by taking a route, loot specific to certain areas. Unlike the typical ND titles, you are alone most of the time, and the game feels much like those open sections in The Last of Us 2 but larger. The verticality and open map are also traversed with a movement very similar to Nathan Drake in Uncharted. In a map for example, you can reach the end of a completely optional dungeon with some parkour and obtain a unique upgrade for the pistol and customize it on a bench.

okay so this is what I pieced together. She takes the bounty of a criminal space gang called Five Aces, but it might be that deep down there's another motivation. The gang think there’s something worth chasing based on echoes trasmitted by signal relays, and seeking and then shutting off each of those is the main objective, also the MC experiences hallucinations and things that fuck with her perception of reality.

Can you tell something about the worldbuilding? How believable/grounded it is? Because from the trailer it feels like they loosely stringed some sci fi elements together because they looked cool but the whole thing would collapse if you start thinking about it

I find what you say fishy. You said it launches at the end of 2026 so that would be 1.5 years from now. The period you tested on it would be aprox 2 years before launch so that would mean you tested alpha builds or in the best case scenario alpha candidate. How can you say "combat is very good, satisfying combat etc" for example when in Alpha the systems barely have the overall S1 rules implemented let alone tuned to such a way that - bugging aside - someone would be genuinely able to say "satisfying". You describe advanced mechanics that are polished to give off the results you are talking about, which comes at the end of a beta or hell even during the gold-master phase.

this is straight bullshit btw, it's a cyberpunk hard sci-fi game about a world thats in the midst of a bulterian jihad style event. there's fields and cities and some satellite planets you can go to. he's only right about the game being somewhat open like TLOU2 in terms of some segments but that's obvious to anyone.
